These are really short chapters, but I'll try to make the story long!
Chapter 1
Violet, Klaus, Sunny, and Beatrice were gracefully sailing away from the island and to the mainland. They had been sailing for hours, and they felt proud of themselves for doing such a good job.
"So far so good," said Sunny. "We don't seem to be encountering any problems."
"Doog!" shrieked Beatrice, witch means "Think again," and sure enough, she was pointing at the sky. Everyone turned to see storm clouds heading their way quickly.
"Oh, no!" said Violet. "Let's all hold hands. I'll hold Beatrice. We don't want to get separated."
Everyone held hands, expecting to be thrown overboard any minute. Within five minutes, they were all in the water.

A few hours later, little Beatrice woke up to find herself on a beach. She looked around, and saw her guardians asleep nearby. She decided to wake them up.
"Vi! Kla! Sun! Nichibu!", witch meant "Violet! Klaus! Sunny! Wake up!"
"Where are we?" asked Klaus.
"Dunno. Looks like a beach," replied Violet, looking around.
"Where can we go?" asked Sunny.
At that moment, they saw someone walking towards them. Then, a familiar voice cried out: "Baudelairs! Is that you?"
Who was it?
